Of anniversaries and food

This week sees the 15th anniversary of our wedding. It certainly doesn't seem that long since we married:) Left to ourselves I suspect we would not have been too worried about that piece of paper but Mr Mog's mum is of the old school and the idea of "living over the brush" was a little shocking. She was always asking when the wedding would be and we decided we would do the deed for her.
Each day I am so pleased I found Mr Mog.
After 2 dreadful marriages with very very abusive partners I had become resigned to the idea that a happy partnership wasn't for me.
Seems the Goddess had other plans:)
It certainly helps me to bury the past and not dwell on the negativity.
Happy Anniversary Mr Mog, I love you.

We had a yummy lunch today courtesy of Sophie Dahl, roasted tomato and thyme (plus garlic )soup. A full head of garlic was involved in the recipe and I suspect we won't be bothered by vampires tonight;)
I have enjoyed her shows and the recipes. A few in last nights show that I'll be trying apart from the soup.
I don't watch a lot of TV but I do enjoy cookery shows occasionally.

Happy Anniversary to you both!

Sophie Dahl makes me laugh. And I'm afraid I'm laughing *at* her... Gives Nigella a run for her money I suppose :)
