The musings and meanderings of a mixed media artist and yarn junkie who loves to knit, spin, crochet, make a mess, write and enjoy life. I try to follow the wheel of the year and enjoy each day of it. My art reflects that spiritual journey.

I have shiny yarn:)
I started with shiny fluffy batts from Laal Bear
Colourway Happy hippy.
I fluffed it out even further and predrafted it.
Started to fill up the bobbins. Plied the finished yarn and ended up with this gorgeousness:)
I ended up with 245yards from 100gm which in my book is good.
Doesn't it look pretty?

Me oh My!!! That is one absolutely beautiful skien of yarn!!! Great job :D
Amazing spinning! Can you predict what dyed fleece will look like when spun?
Does predrafting make it easier? Drafting reliably without breaking the thread is the bit that still eludes me.
Looks fab Amber! Can't wait to see what it becomes! x
Looks gorgeous! Wonder what it will become?
Gorgeous! And so fine too! Hurry up and pick something to knit it into :D
