The musings and meanderings of a mixed media artist and yarn junkie who loves to knit, spin, crochet, make a mess, write and enjoy life. I try to follow the wheel of the year and enjoy each day of it. My art reflects that spiritual journey.

Welcome to A Year of Simple Things.
I'm sure we'll all find little things that make us really really happy or at the very least content. I can't wait to read all about your year.
Simplifying life sounds like a good idea. I'm going to try it this year. I've just knit Cobweb from the first Magknits. It is a simple pattern - no chart!! I did it shorter than the pattern - about 3.5 pattern repeats at the end. There's a pre-blocking pic on my blog. See kerriesplace (hipknits)for her version.
I like the idea of the simple things ring, thanks for the link :-)
If you need a button for the hospice KAL I can make one for you if you like, just drop me a line.
This sounds like a wonderful idea - how do you join?
