For many years I have enjoyed all the poetry that abounds at this time of the year in honour of the festival of Imbolc and the Goddess Brigid. I can't see any mention of it anywhere for this year but as it is a tradition for me to add a poem I intend to continue. I think this is a "self-regulating" event now after so many years -- i.e. it's not centrally organized or promoted by any main organizer, people just do it on their own! So I'm looking forward to this year's Slam!
