Wollmeise giveaway

I am giving away another 2 skeins of wollmeise. I started a shawl test knit for a girl on Ravelry in a skein of turquoise/green WM and it is awful:( Feels like cotton, very splitty yarn and not nice at all to knit with. Now searching round to find a NICE semi solid for the test knit. I need between 420 and 460 yards so most of my sock yarn skeins are too short.
But if you want the  splitty, cottony (VBG) WM leave a comment. I'll draw winners Friday

Pity it didn't work for you. I'd like to give it a good home and try it!

I'm sorry your shawl hasn't worked out as you'd hoped. It's really annoying to have a pattern calling for just SLIGHTLY more yarn than is in a standard skein.

I don't own any Wollmeise, but I've heard good things about it. Turquoise green is one of my favourite colours and I'd love to give it a go, if you pick me *smiles ingratiatingly* :)

I'm always up for pretty yarn. Splitty I can usually crochet with pretty easily, ironically. Sorry to hear you had trouble with it. Hope you find something nice!

I have a friend in the US who loves Wollmeise. She is very nice, so I would like to find some more Wollmeise yarn for her...

Not in it for the draw, but I have a huge cone of bfl fine yarn, various wool singles, and some pale grey 4ply - if you need a specific yardage in a particular colourway give me a shout and I'll dye/overdye it up for you!

That's such a pity, as I know you make lovely shawls!
I'd like to see if I can tame it.
